About Us

Parul started her career as a freelance fashion designer working with famous houses including Harrods and Harvey Nicks. She travelled around the world working on fashion shows for designers including Gucci and Valentino. Parul became a familiar face in the fashion world and worked alongside many leading international models. Because of this, her attention soon turned to beauty and in particular threading, a method of hair removal which provides a more precise and defined shape for eyebrows. Parul’s talent for threading was apparent and she was constantly called upon by models for their beauty needs.

Parul decided to take the step and focused all her attention to the world of beauty. What surprised her was the lack of beauty salons offering the full beauty experience; trying to find a single place for threading, waxing and nails for both herself and her daughters was harder than expected. She saw an opportunity and decided to open up a Solitaire Salon in North West London.

The salon was the first threading bar in Stanmore and soon became the ‘place to go’ when women needed their brows tidied up. Due to popular demand the salon is now open 7 days a week offering a number of beauty treatments including waxing, facials, massages, manicures, pedicures, tinting  hair and Laser Hair Removal.
